Ace of Cups

Gilded Tarot
The Ace of Cups is one of the many tarot cards that may refer to 'a new home'. This post is not an explanation of the card's meaning, but an explanation of my absence.

I recently bought a new home. I'm currently in the process of moving. I'm sure you've noticed the lack of posting this week. This may continue for a few more days, but be assured I will be back posting regularly soon.

Finding Focus

The Seven of Wands suggests a challenge of some sort and defending your position.

The Reversed Knight of Wands suggests a lack of commitment, taking on too many projects at once, a need to focus upon one to obtain success.

The Three of Wands suggest making plans and acting on those plans.

The Knight of Wands draws upon my attentions, making it the central card and the other two its helpers.

The Quintessential Card of this reading is 10) Wheel of Fortune. The Wheel suggests forward movement, an improvement on circumstances, and being in control of one's own direction.

Overall Reading: I have managed to take on too many projects. Scattering my energies has slowed the progress of each goal resulting in what feels to be failure. It is a challenge for me to focus upon one, but it is something that must be done. I need to choose a project, plan out my moves, and act upon these plans to find success.

This is not the first time in the last few weeks that the cards have given me similar advice. I understand what it is referring to. I'm in the middle of trying to close on the house, I'm writing articles for the examiner, blogging, and in creative writing: a novel in progress and multiple short stories. My focus is definitely scattered all over the place.

It is definitely a challenge for me to focus upon one, because I'm not sure which one to choose and don't intend to quit any of these projects. Most are ongoing, which are the ones that do seem to get the most attention.

And the survey saids ...

Tarot of Dreams
by Ciro Marchetti

I'd like to see more activity on the blog. I thought the 'Interpret A Card', would receive more responses. The resulting non-responses got me to thinking about what types of posts would interest the readers of this blog.

I thought, what would I like to see about the tarot on a blog. Posting personal readings came to mind, but not sure if this would really be of any interest to anyone other than myself. Explanations of each card individually is an option, but is that really what you want to read about here.

The point of this post is to ask you, the reader, what you would like to see in future posts. So, what would interest you?

Feel free to suggest any topics for discusssion. I look forward to your comments.
