Guidance for June - Practice and Focus

I decided to go back to basics for June and use my go-to deck: the Rider Waite Tarot Deck. These are the images I began with when learning to read the tarot. And, although I love all the new decks out there, this is my favorite, and will always be my main deck.

I created a small spread for the monthly reading. The top card gives a big picture overview of the month. The three center cards move from left to right progressing through the month. And, the last card offers a word of advice.

"How should we approach this month? What can we expect?"

Big Picture - Overview of Month - 8 of Pentacles - Looks like we have some work to do in June. It will be all about practicing your skills and putting them to work. Some of you may have just started a course, or you may be practicing your craft on your own.

Beginning - 10 of Wands - And of course, we must do it all at once right?! We always jump in with both feet. It's the way we do it. How else can we get it done? We may find ourselves with a limited amount of time. In fact, this may not represent the time spent on the skill itself, but the struggle to actually get the time to spend on it.

Middle - 7 of Wands - The heavy load will wear us down. We'll have to decide what's most important. We may have to turn some opportunities away. We may have to fight for our right to create, to grow, to practice our craft. It's time to make 'You' a priority.

End - King of Swords - We're all set to go by the end of the month. We've found our focus and know which we're headed. We've weeded through the many wands we carried in the beginning of the month and narrowed our tasks down, so we can be more focused.

Advice - 6 of Wands - You can do this! There's no question of your victory. The advice is to believe in yourself and your abilities. Put in the work, and you'll reach the goals you are striving toward.

You should approach this month knowing that it will be a lot of work, but also that it will be worth it in the end.

Have a great June!
