Moon Phases

Full moon rising by Andrew McMillan

Did you know that a woman's menstrual cycle begins during the first day of her moon?

I know a little about astrology, like creating a natal chart. I didn't realize how the movement of the moon actually affects us.

Astrology is an area I would like to learn more about, so expect to see more of it on the blog as I discover the secrets of Astrology.

Would you like to test this?

Natal charts are available on line, free. Here's one:
http://astro.cafeastrology.com/cgi-bin/astro/natal, but if you Google you will find many.

Here's a calendar that charts the movement of the moon: http://www.zodiacarts.com/Calendar.shtml.

Soul Card

The second card in a Tarot Profile is the Soul Card. This card indicates your soul purpose for all your lifetimes.

To discover this card simply add the numbers of your Personality Card. Reduce this number together until you reach a number between 1 and 9. Match this number with the corresponding Major Arcana card and you have your Soul Card.

The formula for your Personality Card can be found here.

In some cases, your Personality Card and Soul Card will be the same.

My Personality Card is 5 - The Hierophant. Since the 5 is already between 1 and 9, it is also my Soul Card.

What is your Soul Card? What is your Soul purpose?

Share with us your card, and I'll post on that particular Soul Card to give you a better understanding of your soul purpose.

Tarot Dynamics - Learn to read any spread

Tarot Dynamics

I know there are a lot of how to books out there on Tarot Reading. Most of them are just another version of someone else's interpretation of the card meanings.

I haven't yet purchased this book, but from my research it seems like it will a unique addition to a Tarot Reader's book shelf.

Bonnie offers a book review and an interview with the author, Anna Cook.

If you want to learn more about the Tarot, be sure to read these articles and grab a copy of the book. I definitely have it on my to-buy list.
