Guidance for July - Soul Connections

I was thinking over which deck to use this month. The Tea Leaf Fortune Cards popped into my head. I ignored the thought for a little while because the deck is so spot on, so accurate. I wasn't sure how well it would do for a group reading. But, it insisted on staying on my mind.

Worst case scenario - you get to see the deck in action. Best case - it proves to be further reaching than I imagined and we get some great advice for the month.


How should we approach this month? What can we expect?

Getting together with friends./You will receive a gift./Victory in some endeavor./Spiritual development, enlightenment, awareness, and understanding.

A social event will bring you a new sense of clarity and awareness. Suddenly all of your doubts will be cleared and you'll know exactly what is next in your journey.

A gift of friendship will bring about spiritual understanding and enlightenment.

As I looked at these cards, I received a sense that the friendship may be new and the event may be as simple as two people getting together for lunch.

Climbing Toward Success - A Tea Leaf Reading

I recently found myself drawn back to the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards. In May 2013, I posted The Week Ahead - Tea Leaf Forecast. Over the past few weeks, I've played around with the cards and have received surprising insights.

When doing a week forecast, you basically pull seven cards to apply to the week as a whole. You must them determine which cards connect with one another and read those together.

Cards in the order pulled - name and statement + additional thoughts from companion book:

1. Ladder - Climbing toward success. (You are climbing toward success in some aspect of your life, but the clouds symbolize temporary problems that you will have to overcome first.)
2. Angel - Spiritual guidance. Protection from harm. (during time frame shown)
3. Flowers - Happiness. (during time frame shown)
4. Tower - Solid foundation. Success with effort.
5. Ant - Work, achievement, success.
6. Bear - Danger, especially in money matters. (could refer to loss of money beyond control, repairs and such.)
7. Target - A goal - oriented person. (could refer to you or another)

Overview:

It's important to have a specific goal in mind (Target) as you take the necessary steps toward your success (Ladder). You may experience temporary problems (Ladder), but with a firm foundation (Tower) and hard work (Tower and Ant), there's no limit to your success (Ladder, Tower, Ant).

During the week, you'll be protected by Angels. You may notice more signs than usual with the added spiritual guidance. You'll also experience a easy, carefree happiness. Enjoy the gifts bestowed upon you: spiritual guidance, angel protection, and happiness. 

A certain amount of danger lingers, possibly in money matters. Watch your spending, but don't be too surprised by the lack of control you may have over the area of where the money may go. Repairs, replacement purchase, or some other unforeseen expense is possible.

Could the danger (Bear) be the temporary problem (clouds in Ladder) affecting the climb to success (Ladder)? Maybe, or it could be completely unrelated. Although, I'll be honest, if I'd read through the companion book before the grouping, I would have most likely put the Bear with the Ladder.

For the most part, the reading presents an encouraging week ahead. The Angel and Flowers cards alone are enough to make me look forward to the days ahead.

Although this is mostly a personal reading, you may find yourself nodding your head as it reveals aspects of your own life. We are all connected by energy, and that energy seems to extend similar situations among us. Feel free to comment on any aspect that seems to fall within your own week.

The Week Ahead - Tea Leaf Forecast

The forecast for the week ahead comes in the form of Tea Leaf Fortune Cards. I purchased this deck at the end of 2011, played with them a little, but never went back. I think the main reason was I tried to do a year forecast and it wasn't so simple. You basically have a lot of cards in the form of predictions made from the art of Tasseography, a form of fortune telling using tea leaves. After you pull the number of cards needed, it’s up to you to group them together to form the accurate predictions.

For the week, we need seven cards in a straight line. Then after looking over them, decide which cards deal with the same issues and form your predictions. Here’s what came up for my week ahead: May 27 – June 2.

After laying them out in a line of seven, I began grouping the cards together. What you see above is what I decided upon.

Mice - discord among friends or family, Skull - hidden secrets can harm you, Vulture - depression, anxiety. Worry that someone is against you.

I felt these three cards grouped together and carried a similar theme. Someone is lying and it's not a harmless lie. It will cause discord among a group. It will be very upsetting to me and cause me grief.

Cane - Pay attention to your health, Dog-Barking - advice from a friend.

These two cards could very likely connect back to those first three cards. I could be so upset about this dishonesty that it causes me to be physically drained and perhaps neglect my health. I should listen closely to advice given by a friend on this situation.

Elephant - a long journey, either physical or mental, will leave you wiser at the end, Mountain - You are on the road to success.

I feel this will be a mental journey, perhaps even a result from the above dispute and the advice given by the friend. This change, this gaining of knowledge, will set me upon the road to success.

Overview - Don't get dragged down by a dispute among friends. Keep moving forward and accept advice from a reliable friend. As your mental journey develops, you will find yourself gaining knowledge and heading down the right road to success.

I'm actually impressed by this outcome, and it wasn't so hard to group them together.
